That's right, I don't work today. I must say, it is a fantabulous feeling. I also treadmilled for 30 min this morning and lost another pound, thus am half-way to my goal! Yay for Mare! So basically, I'm feeling pretty good right now. Well, a little hungry, but whatchya gonna do?
I'm slowly but surely making my way through Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. I'm not enjoying it as much as her other books, but it's pretty decent as novels go. Infintely better than Red Badge of Courage.
I really have no plans to do anything today because this is my day off and darn it I'm going to relax! So there! Oh, but my dad patched up my car this morning so it isn't really loud anymore. Apparently the tailpipe and muffler were no longer connected. But really, who needs the tailpipe to connect to the muffler? Certainly not I. Anywho, I should really get back to doing laundry. Only one load left to do and then I get to fold and put away. What joy. In fact, "I want you, I need you, oh baby, oh baby".

JUST THERE!
My laundry and I get along very well. lol.
Interesting point, would you actually consider ``The Joy Luck Club`` to be a novel? Because to me, it seemed a lot more like a collection of short stories, albeit related stories. To me, the distinction is that in a novel, you couldn`t properly study just one chapter, you need the context; but in ``The Joy Luck Club``, you could study just one story. < /nerd>
Good point Willis. I guess it couldn't really be called a novel. Book, then. And I'm really confused with all the jumping around!
