Today was quite pointless indeed. That episode of the Daily Show today wasn't nearly as funny as usual. But hey, Jon Stewart rocks. I was going to Wellness Centre, but it wasn't open, so I helped Kim, Willis, and Amilas weed the garden a bit and then go on an adventure to Wal Mart to fetch cups, napkins, and juice. It was delightfully fun. And then we set up for the open house and I basically shadowed Amilas around for lunch and 3rd (meaning stayed in the garden and then helped clean up). I have to say, the garden turned out superbly. So kudos to Amilas and Chris. I felt incredibly awkward standing around with all the teachers and parents, but whatevs. I'm never able to talk to parents, it just doesn't work. Clare, Rabe, and I skipped out of Physics this afternoon after the test, which was delightful. We moseyed up to the Heritage room where the other two helped out on the scrapbook and I lolled about with/on D on the couches. And then Mark and Steve came in (also apparently skipping what remained of 4th), so we had more company.
Yearbook was a whole lot of nothing on my part. But somedays I go hardcore, so I think I average out on the amount of work scale. The yearbook looks awesome so far, if I do say so myself (and I do, of course). Good jobage everyone! The color scheme for the color pages are really nice, and I think our them is looking alright. It really isn't much of a theme, but it looks nice. And really, that's all that counts.
I went to the blood donor clinic after yearbook, which was interesting. The nurse jabbed me a little harder than I thought neccessary, but I'm a big girl, I can deal. There was a hutterite man there giving blood. I didn't know they were allowed to. Well, I didn't know if they were or weren't, I just kind of assumed they weren't. Hmm... Anyway, I got a couple of cookies after and some juice, so Mare was happy. And I got to present my donor card, so that was delightful. Anywho, I'm home now, so ... yes. Happy long weekend everyone!

Query on a point of order.
Shouldn't it be jobbage, not jobage? I feel that if you are adding this suffix to the root word job, it becomes necessary to double the last consonant. I mean, it's obviously croppage, not cropage.
we all know mare can't spell...so i won't correct anything.
about the Hutterites...they're always there. It's community service, and they are there to help the world. They're really nice people, my dad talks to them every time he goes, and by no way is it against any sort of religion for them.
She was on the couch. I wanted to lay about on more couch. Need I say more?
