Went over to my grandma's last night with daddy for half an hour. It was alright. Not the best, but it could have been worse. About half way through our visit:
Grandma: You don't visit often enough! You should come more often.
Mare: Sorry Grandma.
G: Good.
The grandparents and daddy chatted for a little while (after all, children should be seen and not heard), then we got up to go home. Grandma came outside to see us off. We started reversing down the driveway, and grandma couldn't resist:
G: Don't eat too much!
M: I won't.
After all, we can't have fat grandchildren. What would the neighbors say?

Don't eat too much? Sounds psychopathic for a grandmother. My grandma likes to shove food down my throat at all opportunities! The fatter, the cuter! and cute grandchildren are optimum.
i hardly think the neighbours would care. really, it's fort saskatchewan. they're too busy being fat themselves, watching tv. so yeah, your grandma is *slightly* odd. and not really grandmotherly.
judging by her "don't eat too much" comment, i mean.
Well, she does try to feed me alot. It tends to be "Eat that up, I don't want any leftovers!", then after I've eaten the food its "You ate all that? You better be carefull or you'll end up fat like me and your mother". Really, it's the best of both worlds (sarcasm)
