The Dinner

So dinner tonight went lovely. (By the by Clare, thanks for lending me the shirt! worked wonderfully. I'll have it back to you as soon as I wash it.) Mark, his parents, me, and a couple named Tanya and Curtis went to a new Indian place down by U-Haul. It was my first experience with Indian food, and, I must say, it was quite good. The butter chicken (or whatever it was called) tasted a little too much like carrot baby food for me, but the rest was really good. After dinner, Tanya and Mr & Mrs Franklin decided to have a smoke, so Mark and I wandered over to U-Haul to visit Lady, the guard dog. Who was very friendly. But Mark assured me she barks at strangers, so perhaps she's only friendly to Mark. I saw a very nice, sporty-looking corvette whilest we were playing with the dog and immediately burst out with an "oooo! Look! I want one." (or something to that affect). I was promptly informed that we (meaning Mark and I) are not getting a sports car becuase there's nowhere to put the kids. Instead, we will have a nice, family-sized sedan. Humph. Really, I think the trunk would do nicely for the kids. And when they get to big...well, we'll just strap them to the roof. Really, I think my way would work out nicely. I was also informed that when we get married I have to give up country music! *gasp*! My COUNTRY! That will just not do at all! lol. But I must go study some as I don't particularly wish to fail tomorrow.
