Interview Day

Today was parent-student-teacher conferences or whatever the heck they call them now. It didn't go as badly as I thought it would..although Mr Ralph was being creepy and tried to recruit me to choir again...buuhhhuuu. The interview ("conference", whatever) with Mr Ross, Mrs Wiersma, and Mrs Rose went really well. Mr Pope and Mrs Williams went aight. I wanted to crawl under the table for Mr Broemling and Mr MacCarthy. I had to speak (which I hate doing) and answer questions (which is also high on my 'I hate' list). And Alex kept stealing the teachers I needed to see. I was figuring on getting a long stick and poking him with it until he left...but mum said no and to behave myself.
In other news...Mr Ross had a few very delightful 'darling' phrases today. It was actually quite an interesting lesson though. My oral presentation went crappily today. I got really nervous (as usual) and was practically virbrating on my chair. And then somehow managed to stutter through the questions. It was totally embarassing (as valley-girl as that sounds). Lunch was fun. Rabe and I looked through magazines and made fun of the barely-clothed people. Bio was..odd. I can't do that gel number figuring out crap with the bands. But, I shall persevere...hopefully...Chem was as per usual. Mr Pope has such a soothing voice that it's hard to stay awake. Although, that movie was just ever so exciting. Well, I'm off to beddy bye. Good luck to everyone studying for the math test tomorrow!

Ahhh...Mr. Pope's voice is like a grampa's...just not mine...lol...I love it, he seems like such a calm and serene guy. I also agree that history was quite interesting, I enjoy Mr. Ross so...and for the record, you definitely should have poked Alex...geesh, it would serve him right for being so tall. Now you can just add "teacher stealer" to Alex's list...which I believe includes liar, lazy person, litterer, thief, and a whole bunch of other things that we've come up with since grade ten and I can't remember.
