When we last left our heroes, Mac was just about to call the Pentagon. Will Mac be able to get through? Will he finally finish reading the report on black holes? Stay tuned to find out...
Mac hung up with Sally and called the pentagon (which happened to be on speedial, because really, why wouldn't you have it on speedial?). After going through the many secretaries, aids, financial advisors, and analysts that are in charge of screening phone calls, Mac was finally put through to Vice Admiral Visser-Wiersma, commander of the fleet along the eastern seaboard.
"Hey Visser-dubya!" he said, chuckling at his sense of humour.
"It's Wiersy, Mac." Wiersy said, taking an organic tomato out of her nearby refigerator and taking a bite.
"Ya, well, Wiersy, we got us a situation." Mac said.
Wiersy sat up and dabbed one of her monogramed napkins across her lips. "What's up Mac?" Mac was known throughout the eastern seaboard for his exaggerations.
"It's the water molecules, Vice Admiral. They've gone wild!"
Wiersy fell out of her chair. The half-eaten organic tomato rolled away forgotten on the floor. "Oh...well...that got my epinephrine rushing."
"I'm rather sorry to break it to you this way, but we must save New York before-"
"NEW YORK!?!? I left Poopsie there over the weekend with my inlaws! Oh Poopsie!" Wiersy cried, dissolving into heart-wrenching sobs.
