And Then Some

Yesturday was a long day and then some. I went to spanish, but really ended up wishing I hadn't. Not that we did anything, but I really would have preferred to not go. Mark and I grabbed our stuff and hit the LRT and were picked up by daddy at Clareview. After we changed, we went to the curch, and it was packed. Mum said the CWL ladies counted about 360 people. We (meaning the immediate family) processed in with the priests, but we ended up being a bit late because Fr. Leo arrived last minute and we wanted to wait for him to join the other priests. Grandma had four priests conducting her funeral (Fr. Jim, Fr. Duncan, Fr. John, and Fr. Leo), and there really isn't many who can say they went out with four priests.

The service was really nice. Fr. Jim did a really good job. I didn't know if I was going to make it through Intentions, but I managed. Fr. Jim told me later that he was ready to jump up for moral support if I needed, but he was proud I didn't need it. And then I didn't think Nathan was going to make it through offeratory without fainting, he looked so white. So I kept having to look back to make sure he and Jess were following behind me, but we made it. And everything went well. I even managed to only cry a little bit during the eulogy.

But I think everything really hit me today. I couldn't study for Bio because it was all I could do to keep from crying. I'm just so tired and I still have a headache from yesturday morning, and everything just seems too much. I'm really glad it's reading week, because I don't know how much more I can take.

(PS, wasn't my grandma pretty back in the day?)

mare, i know you want to be strong and "Wellers don't cry!", but it's ok to cry sometimes, and this definitely qualifies as a time when it's ok to cry.

I'm glad the service was nice. I'm sure your grandma would've appreciated going out the way it went. I'm here if you need to talk or just need a hug.

love

I'm with Rabence. Unfortunately I can't give you a hug though...does a cyber hug count? *BIG HUG*.

Your grandmother was gorgeous back in the day -_^ (<- that's supposed to be a wink).
-Hope
P.S. Even strong people cry- don't hold in your pain.

I know its been a while since you posted this but I wanted to agree with all of the above. (Clearly this is looking like a waste of space). Also, of course she looks pretty. You inherit most of your looks from that side are not I correct? How ever would hott and steamy Mare be so hott and steamy without a hott and steamy Grandma.
